Please join the DeKalb County GOP at the Dunwoody Independence Day Parade!
We need people! Smiling, happy, glad-to-be-there people to hand out literature, candy and well-wishes!
Bring friends, neighbors, children, anyone who wants to be in a parade (the limits on walkers apply only to candidates - not us).
It would be helpful if you would let us know you're coming, but you don't have to - just come!
The parade will feature marching bands, floats, clowns, animal units and local celebrities. Last year the parade attracted over 2,500 participants and 32,000 spectators!
The parade begins from the corner of Mount Vernon and Jett's Ferry, but we have not yet received instructions about our exact assembly area. Plan to meet at between 8:30 and 9:00 am. Call Natalie Olmi at 404-405-7957, or Frank Auman at 404-805-5255 for specifics.
