Georgia Secretary of State’s Office

Who Will Speak On

Securing the Vote & Georgia’s NEW Voting Machines

Securing the vote is our #1 priority,” said Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. “We are encouraging voters from all walks of life to try out the new, secure, verifiable paper ballot system.”

The State of Georgia has replaced its first-generation, 18-year old electronic voting machines with the new secure, paper-ballot system resulting in the largest rollout of voting equipment in U.S. history.  And the Georgia Secretary of State’s office is leading the country in election innovation and access with automatic voter registration through the Department of Driver Services, three weeks of early voting – including a Saturday, and no-excuse absentee voting. The Peach State is also the top state in the number of motor voter registrations and, in the last election cycle, experienced record registration and a record increase in turnout.

In addition, the DeKalb County Voter Registration and Elections Office will have the Georgia’s NEW Voting Machines onsite for demonstrations.

Special Presenters:

Opening Prayer in Celebration of Women’s Month & the 100th Anniversary of the Passage of the 19th Amendment, Guaranteeing and Protecting Women’s Constitutional Right to Vote
